Immigration Attorney in Our Los Angeles Office.
Mrs. Delgado is a native of Mexico and naturalized U.S. citizen. She arrived to the United States at the age of nine years old. She—like many of her clients today—went through the process ofapplying for permanent resident status. Her personal background rooted her commitment and desire to help others with their immigration status. She has represented clients for the past 7 years in all areas of immigration law, with a focus in removal defense, family immigration, appeals, and federal court litigation.
As a Los Angeles immigration lawyer, she has successfully represented individuals in asylum, adjustment, and naturalization interviews. Mrs. Delgado has extensive litigation experience drafting motions to reopen, immigration briefs, and writing for the Administrative Appeals office. She has advised criminal attorneys on the immigration consequences of criminal convictions, and has advice clients and criminal counsel on safe pleas to avoid removal or ineligibility for relief. She successfully argued before the Ninth Circuit, the case Linares-Gonzalez v. Lynch, 823 F.3d 508 (9th Cir. 2016), which held that California’s identity theft status is not a crime involving moral turpitude.
